“IstarComEx”, our Information Technology System for the Tracking and Control of Operations - which comprises both the operating and administrative areas - was developed and implemented by our company in 1996. Since then, this system has been extended and enhanced by our IT Department, keeping up with the latest advances in the field of Information Technology and Communications. Nowadays, IStarComEx gives our clients the possibility to enter our web page with a pre-assigned password and to have online access to the information about all their processes.
One of the most important advantages of our system is its flexibility to handle the available information because it permits our clients to build their own cubes and to truly audit our management, with the possibility of exporting the results of each inquiry to Excel.
In order to ensure the safeguard of data, there is a centralized Backup System, which is run on a daily basis with an AES encryption protection of 1024 bits.
